A demanding UE5 (Lumen + Nanite) showcase. On an RTX 4070 at 1440p, native/DLSS sits in the low-to-mid 50s, so DLSS Quality + Frame Generation is what gets you to a smooth high-refresh result. Dropping the heaviest settings to Medium and keeping Lumen at Medium holds 55-65FPS before Frame Gen roughly doubles the perceived smoothness.

Notes
RTX 4070 @ 1440p data (TechSpot / PC Gamer): with full hardware RT the 4070 only manages ~34FPS, so leave Ray Tracing off and rely on software Lumen at Medium (~55-65FPS in demanding areas at DLSS Quality). Set DLSS to Quality first, then enable Frame Generation + Reflex together (FG roughly doubles frame rate but needs Reflex to control latency). If you do want RT, Ray Traced Shadows are the best value (~8-12FPS cost); RT Reflections (~10-15FPS) are for RTX 4080+. Drop the heaviest settings (Full Ray Tracing, Very High shadows, hair) to Medium.Hardware
