Helldivers 2 is playable on the base Z1 at ~30-40FPS during combat (vs near-locked 60 on the Z1 Extreme). The intense particle-heavy firefights - stratagems, explosions, swarms - are what tank the frame rate, so heavy visual cuts and a low render scale are required. Best enjoyed at 720p Low capped to 40.

Notes
Windows Central and rogallylife both note the base (non-Extreme) Z1 reaches ~30-40FPS in combat where the Z1 Extreme nears a locked 60. Helldivers 2 is GPU-bound on particle effects, so set Render Scale to Ultra Performance / ~720p, Particle Quality and Shadows to Low, and turn Ambient Occlusion off. Frame rate is fine when exploring but craters during multi-enemy bug breaches and orbital barrages - cap to 40 so the drops feel less jarring. Plug in for the heaviest missions.
