A demanding, upscaling-dependent RE Engine title - even an RTX 4090 can't hold 60 at native 4K Ultra. On an RTX 4070 at 1440p, optimized settings give ~53FPS without Frame Gen and ~99FPS with it. DLSS Quality + Frame Generation is the intended way to play; just watch for tearing in crowded hubs.

Notes
PCGamesN / MSI: RTX 4070 @ 1440p optimized = ~53FPS without Frame Gen, ~99FPS with it. The game is built around upscaling, so use DLSS Quality + DLSS Frame Generation as the default. Shadow Quality Low/Medium is a major FPS win for minimal motion loss. Caveat: Frame Gen can cause visible tearing in dense NPC hubs/storms even though the average looks high - if that bothers you, cap FPS just under your refresh and use VRR. Base (real) frame rate ~50-55, so FG latency is acceptable.Hardware
