A famously VRAM-hungry port (9GB at 1080p, 11GB at 4K), which makes the 12GB RTX 3060 a good target. Dropping from Ultra to High gives a big FPS boost for little visual loss, and keeping Textures at High (not Ultra) avoids the VRAM cliff. At 1440p with DLSS Quality this targets a locked 60FPS.

Notes
TLOU Part I is VRAM-bound more than GPU-bound. Use the in-game VRAM meter and keep the bar out of the red: on a 12GB 3060, High textures are fine at 1440p; 8GB cards must drop Character/Environment Textures to Medium. Switching the overall preset from Ultra -> High gives the biggest FPS gain for minimal quality loss. Pair with DLSS Quality. Let shaders fully pre-compile on first launch to avoid traversal stutter. ~60FPS at 1440p on the 3060 12GB.
